Medicine for Altitude sickness & landing in Addis Ababa

    Anybody been there and bought a local remedy or know of something effective that can be bought here.

    Suffered 3 days after landing in Bogota and Addis is 200 metres higher:eek:

    I'm pretty sure that asking for (and giving) advice on medical treatments & drugs, is against the Boards charter. Your best bet is to get the advice of a GP, or a tropical medicine specialist. I offer you my sincerest sympathies. Addis absolutely kicked my ass, the first time I went there.

    You'dbe doing well to find any sort of ppharmacy in addis airport! It's not that we'll furbished with shops. Best to try bring some with you after consulting with your GP at home!
