    Folks,
Can anyone offer an opinion on this car. Is a manual transmission and 2009 car. The dealer who I rang today said he would include and FM transmitter, have the car valeted and officer 6 months warranty. He also said if I pay upfront cash with no trade in he will sell it for €7000. I dont know much about these cars and its a Japanese import so I would be asking if he has a copy of the auction sheet etc. Any advice on it is appreciated. It would mainly be used as a runaround (no more then 6000km mileage per year). Used for the odd commute to work 30km round trip

This one is cheaper, automatic and with lower mileage:

Thanks Bazz for the link. I would prefer a manual transmission tbh but the difference in the price is appealing. Also I noticed that 99% of the time these cars are auto transmission. Could the gear box have been changed to a manual one and if so would this be something to be weary of?

The Demio is a Japanese Domestic Market Mazda2. Most Japanese imports are automatic because they tend to live and drive in large urban areas where automatics are more suitable. Manuals sell in low numbers over there but not unheard of, I couldn't see the point in someone spending money on converting an auto Demio to manual.
