Timing belt & DMF

I have a 2008 2l tdci smax with 116k miles so closing in on timing belt change. I think I have been hearing vibrations from engine area recently which could be a sign of DMF giving trouble. My question is there any benefit to doing both the timing belt and DMF together even if the DMF could last for a while yet?

No no benefit in doing both together from a mechanical point but might get a better deal in labour for the two done together

Thanks. I was just wondering if the dismantling required to replace the timing belt is also required to get at dmf or if there is very limited commonality between both jobs. If not I'll wait for the dmf to deteriorate further - who know what would happen the car in the meantime.

They aren't close to each other. Timing belt is at the front of the engine and the flywheel is at the back, where the bellhousing attaches. I think.
