Prob been asked to death, apologies.

Can I bring a chicken wrap (wrapped in cling film) through security at Dublin? I have lounge access so it's not a case of being a tight-wad, more that I don't want to be eating junk.

    Many thanks.

It's liquids that are not allowed. Food is fine.

Yep, food is fine. But if you are going to the US, you can't bring any meat products past the US Customs & Immigration pre clearance checkpoint. If you are going anywhere else, you've nothing to worry about.

Sorry forgot to mention, going to UAE, so all should be fine.

    Thanks folks.

(And yes, not bringing liquids, plenty of whiskey in the lounge :D )

Is this a piss take ? or perhaps a thinly veiled 'I'm off to the UAE with lounge access' thread ? ;) Some crazy stuff popping up in this forum between how to weigh a bag, bringing a kettle and now asking about wraps :O

    Get over it, mate.

I no longer have a tolerance for sh1te food since putting myself on a semi-healthy diet. I have no desire to gobble down pastries etc. before getting on a plane and was wondering if I can bring my own food in.

UAE isin't exactly anything to be showing off about, btw (Although the on-ward flight destination will be my base for winter holidays... yay). And TBH in this day and age, flying business with lounge access is hardly anything to brag about either.

PS. *CAN* I bring a kettle?? :pac:

You can fly business to Bangkok tomorrow with Swiss for 1200. That's pretty cheap and certainly not elitist

Isn't spending extra for more luxury the very definition of elitist?

Wraps are horrendous for calories. Bad choice.

I'm not worried about weight / calories, but think that's a topic for a different thread.

PS. From what I gather, it's the fillings that were known for their calorie count. I make my own wraps so no mayo / tikka sauce etc.
