No signal from satellite dish

We lost the signal from the satelite dish a number of months ago. Signal is showing as 0 in the settings. I'd like to try to get it fixed up for Christmas. Installers all too busy to come out (original installer out of business)

We have a dual tuner TV and a dual tuner box, neither are picking up a signal, both used to.

Is there any way this is a settings issue that can be fixed?

Dish is probably misaligned, you may need to just adjust it

Its easy to do, just twist it a few mm left or right with someone watching the tv

No way I'm going on the roof! I'll wait until one of the installers is free to call to us. Thanks

    Not at all.

This is most likely the dish is off position slightly

Depending on where its installed you can get some joy from moving the dish very slighyl left or right to get the dish more accurate.

The meter readings on the sky box signal settings can be a crude indicator.

Outside of this the lnb could be gone or water ingress on cable.however dish alignment would be my first port of call
