Looking for a skateboard for a 10-year old boy who has never used one bofore. Would either of these two do?

Why the big difference in wheel sizes?

Hiya I've been skateboarding for some time now.

    Couple of things.

    1. The skateboard in the first link is a CRUISER and you cant do tricks on it unless you're pro Rodney Mullen tier.
    2. Even though its smaller and more colorful its actually HARDER for children to learn on because its surface is much more slippy due to the lack of griptape as well as the deck being much smaller.
    3. I skated Enuff and they are a GREAT brand for beginners I would recommend them to anyone, and for a 10 year old pretty much perfect.
    4. As for the wheels: The cruiser has much bigger and softer wheels for a smoother ride and can ignore most pebbles and bumps. The Enuff skateboard has wheels designed for smooth surfaces like skateparks and isnt really designed for cruising cause you WILL feel every single bump and pebble.

    hope I helped :)

Thanks for the advice. Went for the first one though, before I saw your post! He seems to be doing good.
