Is my clutch about to die?

I own a 07 Mondeo 2.0 tdci. The car is juddering intermittently, usually around 2000 rpm.

The previous owner replaced the clutch and DMF in March of 2014, surely they should last longer? The car has 125k miles on the clock.

If it is the clutch going, how much does it cost to replace?

Could it be your in the wrong gear but could be a case a lot of mileage on the clock but wouldn't think it's that much known people to have double that mileage and car doesn't shudder bar a bit of repair work. Might need a look at though. Not sure how easily a clutch can be replaced. Could be an exhaust issue if that the case can be repairable but could be car might have to be replaced for safety reasons. I've had a car older than yours and shuddered due to wrong gear but known cars same age as that one that go completely.

Check the motor and transmission mounts.

The revometer needle is very jumpy today. It rises when I accelerate hard then goes down quickly. From reading online these symptoms are one of a dying clutch.

It does sound like it, budget 700-1000 for a new clutch and dmf depending on who does it.
