Renault Master Indicator problem

    Hi,

    Left indicators suddenly stopped working on my Renault Master ( 2006 2.5 DCi) last week - right ones OK.

    Then, during a long drive home they started working again - but only occasionally, mostly dead.

    Hazard warning lights work OK - all bulbs flashing left and right.

    Today I took the stalk off the column to have a look - everything moving freely, I put it back and now right ones stopped working but left ones OK.

    What's going on ? Do I need to take the indicator stalk to bits to clean it, or might there be another problem ?

    Did you inspect the wires? Sounds like there is some rubbing or similar going on.

    The wiring connector plugs straight into the indicator stalk - there are about 8 wires there does not look much room for movement. I will take the stalk off again tonight and take a closer look - thanks !

    working ! I took off the stalk inspected wires, moved stalk switches and in all directions, put everything back and all indicators are now working. Must be a bad contact somewhere - but OK for now.
