Confused about driver cpc

    Hi all

    Today I passed my combined bus and truck theory test. I scored 135 out of 140. My question is, do i have to pass the case studies test next before I can obtain my truck learner permit, or can i go ahead and get my learner permit before the case study test? I am hearing conflicting views on this and am really confused.

    Please help

    Depends on your age and which categories you're after.

    If you're over 24, you can now go and get your permit for and or all of categories C, C1, D and D1 if you want.

    If you're under 24, it gets more complicated depending on which categories you want and what age you are.

    If the above doesn't answer your question, let me know what age you are and which categories you want and I'll let you know what you have to do.

    Hey thanks for getting back to me. I am 30 since October and want to get my learner permit for trucks but i am unsure if I need to do the case study first or not.

    In a nutshell, at your age, you can get the C & C1 permit without having the case studies done.

    Sorry I didn't reply sooner had a lot going on lately. Thank you for getting back to me cant decide. I applied for my learner permit after doing my medical this week. I should have the permit in the next two weeks and got the all clear with a full bill of health in my medical :) Im thinking I might go ahead and apply for my case studies test in the next few weeks or so. Is it hard do you know? Im guessing its just another multiple choice thoery test of sorts? There is no real info on it. I have the book and cd with all the case studies and theory questions but It doesnt really give you questions and answers as such.
