Any word on a date for a launch of Dunnes Stores online grocery shopping?

Nope. But knowing Irish "sure be grand" attitude I'd expect it anytime between next month and next century.

They should first look at fixing their self service checkouts, they are about 10 years behind what Tesco are using, they take all day.

XP Embedded runs a huge % of tills and will only go out of support in 2019 for the POSReady edition. I'd imagine Tesco use it too.

I think it is crazy that all the supermarkets, bar tesco, are so secretive of their pricing. I do not even want online shopping, or a fancy website, but surely they could all easily upload their own internal current stock and pricing online. I just want to compare prices, many have actively avoided comparison sites.

It leads me to presume they have something to hide, if youexpect me to sign up to see a price go to hell, since in the past I did register and saw feck all of what is really in the shop.

My local Tesco and Dunnes both use identical self service checkouts.
