    I found myself in something of a dispute with Gaurav this evening. Now I'm not racist - which I realise is the first thing anybody says before saying something racist - but surely it isn't beneficial for Vodafone to hire people who are a bit dim and can't speak English all that effectively? If I was out of line I'd admit to it straight away, but I'm right here.

    Has anyone been conned by Vodafone over the same issue?

    They weren't calling you a liar - they just had access to different information and were going with that, their implication was that you made a mistake, not that you were a liar.

    Otherwise though, of course you're not being racist - that thing of "I'm not racist but" meaning someone actually is racist is only a joke, gets taken seriously though. People can certainly use that phrase and also be non racist.
    You're right it's a joke someone with poor English has been hired for this role, and obviously hasn't received great training.

    Im not reading all of that so will just assume you are a racist. Your starter pack of white hood, black friend and confederate flag are in the post.

    Phones tend to be poor quality so dont really help in understanding.

Unless you have a screenshot of the original page no tech support is going to accept that ( and it's unlikely that the 6S is free on any plans except the most expensive).

    And I think that phone support for VF is in Ireland. I know sme of it is anyway.

    OP I'd get over to the "Talk to Vodafone" forums on here if I was you, because it sounds like the upgrade hasn't been cancelled and you've been signed up to a new contract.

    No idea what you're going to do about the €250 or how you were able to apply for an upgrade with arrears on the account, but the Vodafone website is known to be shyte at the best of times.

    It's just a pity there's no way to recall the page from your Internet history that you could get a screen grab of it. Tbh OP I'd get onto someone in Vodafone Customer support as quickly as you can and get that sorted.
