I survived the Monday to Friday grind, again. My schedule for the evening is empty and now I find myself here, at a crossroads.

    It's question time:

Head out to the pub? No sir, my mind must be clear tomorrow and alcohol can go **** itself this weekend.
Go for a run? This is definitely a possibility but I'm not going to commit either way right now because the weather is angry.
Watch TV? I don't watch TV but I shall consider watching a film on my laptop. A fortune cookie told me last week that a new TV show is on the horizon. Tonight perhaps? Maybe.
Get a takeaway? Nah I don't have the urge but I will definitely eat something at some point.
Visit friends/family? No thanks, I've met enough people this week, some sound some not.

What else is there for doing? Anyone that isn't heading out tonight, what's your lot?

I'll make a coffee for now.

Crank up the heat or the fire. Settle down and listen to the peace and quiet or some new music. Track the weather on boards. Just the the world go on its own merry way.

I'm in the same boat as you OP for tonight & going by the weather forecast, a boat could be in order.

Have a mountain of washing/ironing to do. That ain't no way to break in a weekend, but don't want to do in during weekend.

Twenty years ago if someone had told me that The Honey Monster would one day suggest that you have a ****, I probably wouldn't have believed them, in fact I wouldn't have known what it meant..but this is life.

    Who knows what's in store?

You forgot the most obvious option.
Continue to ask online weirdos how I should waste another mundane evening?

Go out for a run. Then you're entitled to order a takeaway and not feel bad about it. Then watch a movie or play some games.

    Sorted.

One day you may have kids and you'll wonder WTF you did with your free time and regret not having spent it sitting around relaxing.

No evening should be mundane. We're getting ****ed in this country.

Do you think they're at this craic in California? Leave the house there and you're surrounded by Starbucks, sunny beaches and skateboards..I don't even like skateboarding but **** me wouldn't it improve the mood? All you see here are simpletons running from the weather, depression ( that's right you can ****ing see depression ) and Honey Monster's suggesting you fiddle yourself. What's going on lads, we've lost ourselves somewhere along the way. It's about time we picked things up.

There's nothing with fiddling with yourself, ideally it's a group activity, bring a friend, fiddle each other.

Have a PC? Install an online game, and kill people online.

Either to up your own score, or to be sneaky, and ruin someones day.

If nobody set up these threads, where else would you get to act smarmy?

8 cans and a bag of weed. When you wake up on the couch at 5am just throw yourself in to bed and enjoy an extended lay in. Win win.
