Going to Greece with Swissair; a few questions

Hey everyone. I will be going to Greece on the 14th and I am just looking for some answers to a few questions before I book the flight.

If I missed a connection flight in Zurich, would I be re-booked by Swissair? I believe all my flights would be with Swissair.

On the booking section of the airline's website, it was asking regarding an automated check-in and something about a mobile boarding pass. I read about it and it requires that the airports support the use of them and that the passenger must have an 'internet-enabled' mobile phone/tablet. I do not want to go through this route and would like the old check in at the airport with a boarding card at hand as I do not want to go through the hassle of finding out if internet will be available for me in Zurich or whatever. I just want it at hand so I don't have to worry about it. But the website doesn't seem like it has an option to not do an automated check in. I was able to un-tick the automated boarding pass option but on the second bit, I had to select an option. To explain it better:

Do I have no options here? Another reason why I don't really want this option is because it gives the boarding pass only 20 hours before departure. I have no printer at home so I don't know if I would be able to print it out before flying.

If I proceed with the top two options un-ticked, do I still have to fill in the 'API' thing on the blue section?

Thank you guys in advance :D

Just take a screenshot of the boarding pass on your phone and then show them that.

the essential problem here is a passenger that assumes that he is travelling with Ryanair.
NOTE, only Ryanair (and ok wizz too) are complete muppets with needing to print passes in advance.

The likes of Aerlingus, British Airways, Lufthansa, Swiss (etc x hundreds of normal airlines) allow you to print or re-print your pass at the airport for free.

Thus, what actually is the problem ?

Just check-in online, and go to a desk at the airport and ask for a paper pass, or use the lufthansa/ star alliance terminal at Dublin airport and print one there.

When I read on mobile boarding pass, it stated that I have to ensure that all airports that I have to get through will support it and when I found the countries list, Ireland wasn't there. Confused now :(

Ah! Didn't know this. I would most likely go to a desk to ask for a paper pass but just in case, where is this lufthansa/star alliance terminal that you are talking about? Sorry for being such a noob about all this. I don't fly often.

I presume they are talking about the Lufthansa check-in machines. They look like this:

Only Ryanair, easyJet and Wizz Air require you to check-in online.

Dont mind the checking in online but it's just really confusing me now regarding these options on the booking page. So if I leave the option as shown in the pic, do I still get a boarding pass in my email or not? Would I have to fill in the API thing that the blue bit is talking about?

The simplest thing to do is don't do anything now, nothing. Just check in when you get to the airport. If you are not sure what to do leaving check in until you get to the airport is easier.

So basically just go with the option left as 'receive printable boarding pass via email' and not fill in the 'api' thing that the blue section is referring to? I'm just a little worried regarding the the blue section and it saying that i'm accepting something when i don't even have the option to not do it. Again, i'm really sorry for being paranoid here but I can't help it. First flight alone and first ticket pruchase outside of a travel agent as well so I just want to make sure everything is okay.
