    Hi,

I am looking for some advice here. We have Sealed System Gas Boiler (vokera mynute 25 EHE).
We are going on vacation and planning to switch off the main water supply of the house and drain the pipes but keeping the central heating ON, I have a climote installed, hence i can control the heating of the house remotely when away. We won't be needing any hot water during this period but to avoid freezing pipes, we would like to keep the house heating on.
Question is whether its OK to turn off the main water supply and leave the gas boiler running? Is the sealed system boiler (vokera mynute 25 EHE) connected directly to the mains, if yes, could turning the main water supply off cause problem with the gas boiler?
    Any help appreciated.

No there would be no problem in what you are doing. Worse case scenario is that your boiler loses pressure and nobody is there to top it up. In that instance, the pressure switch in your boiler will stop the boiler firing
