Buying Food/Drink from a Home Business

    Hi there,

The whole custom cake home business seems to have taken off a lot quite recently - that is, the business of making cakes from home, part time, thus cutting overhead costs and making some extra money too.
There seem to be some really great designs out there, and at a cheaper cost, than going to an established company/supermarket chain.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody here actually seeks to purchase cakes from home businesses?
If you could have a cake made, by somebody operating from their home, personalised to your criteria and at a cheaper rate than a chain, then would you?

(There are other home businesses in existence of course...other custom made food and drink products, please say if you do/would use those too!)

    Thanks,
    smileawhile55
