    I have a few mares infoal to expensive stallions. My circumstances have changed since the mares were covered. Would studs take payment for the nominations from proceeds of the sale of the foals

    It happens, your best bet is to contact the stallion owners and try and come to some arrangement with them, I am sure they would be willing to work with you, rather than see no money!
