    Hi cork_south,

    Thanks for your query.

If your meter was installed half way through a billing cycle, you will receive an assessed bill. Your subsequent future bills will be based on your water usage, which is determined by your meter. Your meter readings can be found on the back of your bill, and you can also see your water consumption on a graph if you have signed up for a My Water account. For information regarding meter, please click here.

You can sign up and find out more about an Irish Water online account here. Furthermore, if your meter usage exceeds the average consumption, you will be billed on the assessed charge. For more information on charges, please click here.

    I hope this information helps.

    Kind regards,
    Niall

    2 quick questions please.

That online account says we have used 4.216m cubed for October 2015. How can I find d out if that is good or bad and how much it would cost?

I see on your site it says:
The children s water allowance is 21m3 (21,000 litres) a year, per service per child (aged 17 years old and under.
How do I let ye know about my children?

The average consumption for one person in 66m3 per annum. Which is working out at roughly 16.5m3 per quarter per person.

If you send a PM with the following details, we will be able to update your account to include the childhood allowance:

    - Name;
    - Address; and
    - Contact Number.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Niall

I still get the unmetered bill.

Get in touch with your bosses and your job properly,
I am sick of calling Irish Water to fix the bill and receive the same flat fee B.S.
