Just got an email from the Herald - voucher for €10 of €50 spend in Iceland.

    http://www.iceland.ie/

They've only 9 stores in Ireland though so probably only of limited use to folks (& they're a bit **** if I'm honest anytime I've been in there).

Where it could be useful though is if someone can verify if Tesco accept these... :pac:

Tesco's new signage and leaflets for the voucher policy do not include Iceland

This does not mean you won't get a store that will take them, though, as the policies are very inconsistently applied. Asking Tesco on Twitter is useless as the staff haven't got a clue.

Thanks for posting. You're right though. Would be hard pushed to buy €50 of frozen pizza and ice cream

The official word from twitter last month, if you show the staff in store this they will probably accept the voucher!

Does anybody know how much the herald costs?

    Herald is €1.20 IIRC

As I said, the Twitter staff haven't a clue - you'll find more recent tweets saying no, then more recent again saying yes; constantly twirling, twirling towards nonsense.

That's a very small amount of what they actually stock in the store. I actually find this a very good deal, some of their prices are extremely good on things.

I know this isn't related to Iceland but as people who are getting vouchers in Iceland might also be interested in Aldi vouchers, a facebook group for coupons has said the vouchers are back in sunday independent and sunday world this week, there was no link to where they heard from though and I can't find anything on aldi's twitter so didn't want to start a new thread (or get aldi thread re-opened) until it was confirmed.
here's facebook page that claims they're back.

I'm actually surprised to learn Iceland still have stores here.

Unbelievably I managed this the other night. €50.80 on utter junk. But I didn't have a voucher.
