I got involved recently for the first time by someone asking me and had never even considered it before. I love it.

Is the morning show typically a hard slot to get? Thanks.

Learns the tools of the trade first and then look for a good slot. Community radio has to try and be as professional as the big ones.

There was a short piece about Community Radio Youghal (C.R.Y.) in Co. Cork on the Today Show on RTE1 TV last Friday, during the featured town:

I was listening to CRY FM before while on holidays. Somebody rang in with a request, and the DJ said they had it queued up and ready... on YouTube!

Tools of the trade as in learning a mock American accent and how to announce a "commercial break" with (too) much enthusiasm? :pac:
