    Hi all.
I have a double tap in bath . Mixer I think it's called. You pull the circular piece in middle , one way or the other in order for taps to run or for shower to operate.
However no matter what I do I cannot stop the water from running out the hose. I run the bath water and warm water comes out from hose too. The circular part seems to " click" into place securely ... Does the bath have to be dismantled to take the mixer off and replace or would it just be a washer or something under the circular "selector " if so can it be accessed from top
    Thks
    Sorry for long thread

I suspect its just a rubber seal thats worn. It is usually possible to remove the diverter valve to replace the seal.

Hard to see the detail from the picture, but the valve part that the hose connects to should unscrew from the top of the tap.
If it is the type that it appears to be, disconnect the hose, lift the up the selector and using a pipe take a hold of the section as close to the tap as possible and try to unscrew it from the top of the tap.
Can you post a clearer upclose picture of where the selector comes out of the tap.
