Hi everyone...I have found a broker DeGiro that will sell shares cheap but not paper shares. DeGiro dont convert paper shares. Is there a company in Ireland that will covert paper shares to electronic and is there a cost involved ?

If you just want to sell them then you could try your own bank, AIB and BoI used to do share dealing for their customers. Failing that, you will need to open an account with one of the local brokers like Davy or Goodbody and give them the cert to sell. If you intended to deal with them long term then you could ask them to convert them to electronic and add the shareholding to your account but if you intend to stay with DeGiro for all of your other dealings then I'd just go and find a local way to sell that paper cert.
