The Amiko three is satellite only, and just one imput. you would have to stream RTE.
    An interesting box though.

There is an A3 combo Receiver.

This model is "hot off the presses". A friend of mine, who had one for testing was not impressed and warned me off it.

Why was he not impressed? Same receiver as the A3 in a different form factor with terrestrial tuner in it!

Assuming, it's the same model now on sale, (he tests boxes for a supplier), he seemed to think there was a lot of penny pinching on it and the remote that goes with it, was an ordinary one, not the very versatile one that comes with the original Alien 3.

I believe you can buy the original A3 remote and use it on the Combo if you really wanted it! What other penny pinching did he mention?

It seems it's not the same box. He was raving about the original A3 box, but this seems to be quite different.
A fair number of returns appearantly.

Where are you hearing that out of curiosity?

A friend of mine tests new boxes for a supplier here. Interesting I had an Satellite installer here yesterday, (doing some extra wiring for me), and he expressed similar views, while also raving about the original model.
