    I made an order with a well known UK high street store which had a black Friday promotion code.
    The code went live at midnight and I attempted to use it before that time and got an error message.
    At 12 I re-entered the code and was told all discounts will be displayed at the payment stage. The code appeared to have worked. I progressed with my order and went to the payment stage - there was no price, under the confusion I pressed to order thinking there would be a final review stage, but my order was completed, and only then did I find out that I had not received the discount. I emailed then straight away (12.03am)
    I had used this site before and on my mobile FYI.

    What are my rights here? I've been offered a code to use on future orders but the items I want are out of stock, they've admitted that the error was theirs regarding the code but won't retrospectively apply the discount.

    Is there anything I can do? Is it illegal not to display the final price?
