I remember years ago, I think twas about 40 Euro to advertise a car on Carzone.

I now see its the same price as donedeal

My question is which is the best site to sell a car

I suppose a lot depends on the type of car being sold, in my case its a 10 year old 2.5 litre luxo barge

donedeal definitely still gets the most traffic these days i'd say.

madness alright when you look back to 05-06 and it was €30 per month for a 9 photo 500 character advert on carzone. back then it was the go-to site though, you'd actually get calls if you put up a €2k car.

Adverts is not bad if you want to swap for ten paving slabs and a sheep dog.

I find much as you will have to continually refuse offers of swaps, it is at least useful in that you are nearly sure to have some interest and you can get some bidding going.
I've sold a cheap car on adverts that didn't sell on donedeal.
