None Quick Release Wheels on Turbo

I'm currently using my old bike on the turbo, but want to make it into a winter bike as well as commuter. My old BSO, has the same cassette on the wheel that came with it, but is not a quick release and heavy as feck. So I want to use this on the turbo instead, so I can have the quick release, and lighter, wheel when out on the roads.

Whats the best/ cheapest option for this? Convert the wheel to quick release with LBS, new wheel on ebay or Tacx Axel Nuts?

Anyone any experience of the axel nuts, particularly with non tacx trainers? I do a turbo session with the club, which includes fairly hard/ full on intervals.

The axel nuts seem like the least hassle, and I can live with the extra hassle changing them over old style in the warm and dry. I use Marathon Plus for my commuter, so it's a ballache changing the tyres.
