Shame you didnt post this a couple of weeks ago. I did a clear out recently.

    How many do you need?

    Funny empty whiskey bottle anecdote:

My mother moved into a ground floor flat on Bow Street years ago. The former tenant had been a Jameson workers widow and she used to get the Jameson widows pension. Included in the pension, back in those days, was a litre of whiskey a month. Said widow it seemed was a raging alcoholic who hid her drinking by throwing the empty bottle down the stairs to the basement. When my ma moved in, the bottles were reaching the top step of the stairs to the basement. They had to hire a skip to get rid of them all. Unfortunately for you, this happened 40 years ago.

Best place to ask would be around a few local pubs/nightclubs.
You're going to find it very difficult to get any off here. Members are spread all over the country/world and any people that do have them close to you will probably have a very small amount.

+1 Bring a few black refuse sacks down to your local next Monday morning and they'll give you all you need.

OP specifically said whiskey bottles, a pub is probably his best bet.

If you can wait till about, oh, January the 4th you can come around and look in my shed... *hic*

Pubs and clubs will have vast numbers of Jameson/Jack Daniels bottles every weekend; if you're looking for something more unique you may need to ask back here.

Sorry, I should have been a bit more specific. I was looking for Teelings, Jameson, Paddys, Powers, mainly Irish whiskeys but wouldn't mind unique bottles if anyone had them. My better half works in the Tullamore DEW Visitor Centre and I can get loads of them.

Turns out any bottle will do. Wine, whiskey, gin or vodka. Mainly looking for coloured glass bottles but clear would be perfect too.
