You'd think they'd have anticipated the amount of treatment needed just a bit better :

The 45 locations where raw sewage was being pumped out to sea were:

:: Co Clare - Ballyvaughan, Clarecastle, Kilkee, Kilrush, Liscannor and Ballycotton
:: Co Cork - Castletownbere, Castletownshend, Cobh, Inchigeelagh, Passage West/Monkstown, Ringaskiddy/Crosshaven/Carrigaline, Ringaskiddy village, Timoleague, Whitegate/Aghada and Youghal
:: Donegal - Bundoran, Burtonport, Coolatee housing scheme, Falcarragh, Kerrykeel, Kilcar, Killybegs, Moville, Ramelton, Rathmullan and St Johnston
:: Galway - Ahascragh, Carraroe, Roundstone, Kinvara and Spiddal
:: Wexford - Arthurstown, Ballyhack, Duncannon and Kilmore Quay
:: Waterford - Ardmore and Dunmore East
:: Wicklow - Arklow and Avoca
:: Rush in north Dublin, Ball ylongford in Co Kerry, Omeath in Co Louth and Belmullet and Killala in Co Mayo

    You've lost me?

    Christmas day?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I'd literally rather swim in sh*t than see my relations on my dad's side, so count me in.

    Christmas day?

Loads of people do a swim on Christmas Day for charity or because they're crazy.

Nothing like a Christmas day swim to soften the morning horn.

    Yeah I know but....

You're not giving us much to work with here, Joey...

I assume the OP is highlighting the issue of raw sewage being pumped into the sea and the fact that coming up to the Christmas Day swim, people will be at some of the listed beaches.

I dont see why he linked them together really.

I can't even bear a blast of cold water in the shower. It's what I imagine waterboarding to be. If I was a prisoner of war and they turned the cold water on me, I'll tell them everything after just seven or eight seconds. I hate being cold. I don't even like being touched when I'm cold. Or even spoken to. I'm cold now, so shut up. My point is (I do have one) that I would not swim in cold water on any day let alone fcuking Christmas bloody day. Happy Hanukkah.
