Worth getting leap card?

I use the train or bus a couple of times a month. Am I right in thinking it's 5euro to buy the card and then whatever you top up after? Is it worth it for just a few journeys? Does it expire? Thanks

it doesn't expire so yeah you'd easily save a 5er in just a couple of trips.
