Private van insurance - FBD only option?

    I'm looking to renew private insurance on a fiesta car van. Are FBD now the only company quoting for this? Can anyone recommend a broker in this area who may be able to get better deal than by going with them direct?

    Have tried insuremyvan for a commercial quote, but no joy as I am not self-employed.

    AXA used to insure car type van as cars but it depends on your occupation. Might be worth a try

    My crewcab van is insured with Axa on a social, domestic and pleasure only commercial policy. No need for any specific trade etc, unlike a lot of the other crowds.

    Downside is no driving other vehicles extension.
