    From the Irish Independent:

"Rising traffic congestion is losing money for businesses across Dublin, members of the city's chamber of commerce have warned."

    Do you have a point?

The report is just stating the obvious.

Do I need a point? Just thought it might warrant some discussion. Free free to abstain, if you wish.

I believe you do actually, it's one of boards' asinine rules that you can't just submit a link, you have to comment on it with your own opinion, otherwise you're breaking the sites copyright or something.

To get on topic- until we have the balls to build DART Underground, full Metro North, some BRT lines and extra Luas lines, and commit to sustainable urban planning, congestion will only get worse. I don't think it will happen though, the situation will just be allowed to fester.

And yet the same businesses moan about proposed measures to reduce traffic in the city centre.

Balls to the Indo. It was always first in line to print gobschites moaning and handwringing about first DART and then Luas. Reap what you sowed, idiots.
