It's only 8GB though, and no matter how big an SD card you add you may find yourself in a constant battle to free up space for updates etc. as many still can't be moved to the SD card without having to go about a bit of tinkering. The OS alone will take up a good big chunk of that.

Good price, but I find mine is pretty slow and clunky these days. I think there are probably more capable cheap phones out there at the moment.

However, I can't fault this for robustness, decent screen and nice form factor.

£90 is a good price, just looked at getting it now but it's gone up to £104!

When it gets the Marshmallow update you'll be able to use an SD card as if it was internal memory.

For all apps? That's handy so.

Shur I'm still rocking my 1st Gen sans SD card slot... :D (16GB version, admittedly).

Back on KitKat after a brief fling with Lollipop. The battery life on KitKat is incredible for a three-year-old phone.

My kids have all had the 5" phone and it's pretty good value for €127. And they put them through some thrashing before the screens finally gave up the fight.

My 1st gen 16gb is running great too but on lollipop, apart from the cracked screen. But I have a company supplied 8gb phone with a 32gb SD card and it's such a pain in the ass.

Why?sd cards not free up space

Only some apps can be moved to the SD card, and those apps, and the OS itself, just continue to get bigger and bigger.
