Just wondering, I'm coming up to my first year with my employer, when i started there around this time last year I had around 35-40 weeks left to finish my apprenticeship after being let go in 2010 due to the recession & have been in and out of jobs with FAS. After receiving my qualification in Dublin I told the person who does the pay roll that I had become qualified and haven't seen an increase in my salary. But in July I was paid the full rate due to the person being off for the month but after they asked me when does it usually go up I had said I've usually told the person in my first place of work when I was there a year and it was increased when I reminded them. Should I go back up when I'm there a year or not or what's the best way in going about it?

Is this the same garage that took you on to finish your apprentice?
