so a work colleague was asking me about these (because living in kildare means I'm basically next door to these  ) http://www.myhome.ie/residential/brochure/willouise-sherlockstown-road-sallins-kildare/2751172

willouise in sallins. 5 bed detached is coming in at 379k , not the largest at just over 1800sqft, but it still seems reasonably priced, even for a non dublin-esque part of kildare.

anyone have any more info on it or problems that may not be printed in the brochure.

I have no knowledge of this. There is however, a second ad: http://www.myhome.ie/residential/brochure/sherlockstown-road-sallins-naas-kildare/2741603
Built to exacting standards and specifications
Has anything actually been built (those are not real photos of the properties in the brochure)? The designs in the brochure might or might not comply with the building regualtions.
Willouise offers all the benefits of rural living
    In a housing estate?
    in a village environment
Sallins-Naas must have a population of about 25,000.
yet is only ten minutes walk to the park and ride facility at Sallins Train Station
And another 3 minutes to the train station itself. :)
which provides direct access to Dublin City in 20 mins,
Train time to Heuston is 21-34 minutes + time to station at either end. Return journey is 17-35 minutes.
and only ten minutes drive to the M7 Motorway at Junction 9 Naas.
At what hour of the day?
    Choice of fitted kitchens.
    Choice of fitted wardrobes.
And hte headline price will only include for the most basic specification.

The newly upgraded 3 lane M7 motorway is accessible at Naas - exit 9, five minutes drive from Willouise.
Has the M7 been upgraded? And is it 5 or 10 minutes? Or 25?

Ask the people with pyrite how that worked out.

Note "2,3,4,& 5 bed homes", so they aren't all 5-bed.

Access to the train station may be convenient, but what's traffic like in the morning getting to the N7?

Can they / their children swim if they fall in the canal?

Location is wrong on the ad, it seems to be across the road from Straffan Way. http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/220409486#map=18/53.25149/-6.65788
willouise in sallins. 5 bed detached is coming in at 379k , not the largest at just over 1800sqft,
Isn't it "163.9 sq.m / 1,765 sq.ft"? some kid is going to fall down that stairs and brain themselves on the WC door.

Plans and elevations don't match - different window layout at minimum.

    The bathroom layouts look awful.

tbh I think you'll be lucky if the whole place doesn't just slide down the hill into the canal.
