Another question about when to book flights

Hi all, I know its crystal ball gazing, and its asked all the time, but I would appreciate any input.

We are planning to go to Rome for a week next Easter. I know that this is not the cheapest time, but due to family commitments, this is the best time for us to travel . The Ryanair flight prices for Wed/Wed are not dirt cheap but are pretty good.

I am tempted to book now. Before I do, does anyone know If Ryanair announce a sale in the new year, do they typically exclude peak times like Easter from the sale prices ?

Easter 2016 is in March so anyone with any sense planning to fly to Rome will have their flights booked by January which means that in all probability there will be so few unsold seats on that route that they won't have to discount them in a January sale.

Don't lose sight of the hotel and how much that will cost - saving a few euros on the flight by waiting for a sale in January might be a false economy when you discover that you've left it too late to get a hotel at a decent price.

If it's during the Easter break or when schools are off I would book it now.

Catholics all over Europe tend to do Rome in Christmas week and it can be VERY busy - if you can book it now - do so.
