Fixing overflow/leakage problems

    Hi,

We got a new built in dishwasher (Powerpoint P3459G6W) installed a few days ago. I put in th edishes, salt, rinse aid and small amount of detergent. It started washing, but at some point it stopped with an E5 error. In the manual an E5 is overflow/leakage error.

Can somebody explain how I go about trouble shooting it? How can I drain it ? There is not much info online for this model of dishwasher.I would like to be able to do it myself without voiding my warranty or calling a serviceman.

What type of detergent did you use?

Too much detergent can cause problems with the overflow sensor under the machine.
You would need to turn the machine on its side to get in at it and dry out the catchment area.
Bit of a tricky and wet job to do, so have some large towels at the ready.
