One of these valves have stopped working on my system, it won't shut off, so I was wondering if they can be replaced without replacing the actual valve. Any advice woule be appreciated.valve.JPG

Yes the Sauter actuator can be got without the valve
To remove there is a button on the side of the actuator push in and pull straight up sometimes it might need a gentle prise under it pull out connector lead refit new in reverse order

If the button does not press in, there is a little brass locking screw under the actuator that locks the button, it might need to be turned back.
Also the plug on the end of the cable may be different.

If you don't fancy rewiring it, an adapter can be got to make the old plug fit the new actuator

Job done, many thanks for all the tips. Bought the actuator in Chadwicks Coolock, €50. Fitted it in5/6 minutes thanks to tips here, wiring adapter came with it. Still had same problem actuator still always on. Investigated Nest thermostat (should have done this first !!) just unplugged thermostat from wall plate and back on, this seemed to reset and all was well. Put back on the original actuator and returned the new one to Chadwicks, full refund.
So the moral or the story with technology, turn it off and on again:)

Thanks again for the assistance guys.
