Little guy is being investigated for this but he has all the signs so apt is really about the extent, treatment, prognosis. He is an otherwise happy healthy 14 month old. He appears to be developing within normal range. Has anyone experience of this and had a positive outcome?

Mod This is getting very close to asking for medical advice. However I will leave it for the moment - if anyone wishes to offer support that's fine, but anything resembling diagnosis and suggestions of treatment will result in the thread being closed.

It's great that he is reaching his milestones as this seems to a feature of the condition you mention.
I would seek the support of parents facing the same or similar challenges, both at home and abroad.
Make sure you are getting all the assistance you can from the state, so a call to your local Citizens Advice or your GP should give you critical information.
If you are looking at medication it might be a good idea to familiarise yourself with the various side effects, interactions and contra indications so, if they occur, you are better equipped to respond in a prompt manner.

Thanks. I mainly want to know if anyone has a kid who wasn't too adversely affected if possible. Any kids who have got through this as some can grow out of it. I'm hoping to hear positive stories. Not medical advice.

I appreciate you are not asking for medical advice OP, but people responding may take it up that way, just a reminder for them.
