Netflix on Humax?

I read reports that Humax did a deal with Netflix in September to show Netflix on selected receivers.

There's nothing on the Humax website but Netflix seems to indicate their app is up on running on 4 Humax models https://help.netflix.com/en/node/26133.

Does anyone know if the app is actually available on Humax receivers now?

    Cheers

I just came across a thread on AVForums saying Humax are just beta testing Netflix App.

I guess it will be a while before it gets rolled out.

Did you have to do anything to get it or did it auto update?
Where does it appear in the menu?

    Thanks

I did a manual check for updates in the settings menu and it offered me the update. Netflix appears in the On Demand section.

    Updated automatically.

As Karsini says above, it's in the On Demand section.

Sorry to revive this old post but I have just seen this thread.

We have the HDR1000s and I never knew you could get Netflix on it.

I have just had a look at OnDemand and there is nothing there

Checked for updates but there are no new updates - Last update was March 2016.

We don't have the box connected to the broadband - Is this why I amn't seeing it?

Any Advice - Would love to get Netflix going on the Humax - would get rid of the Wii that we currently use for Netflix

If you go into system settings and do a software update you should get Netflix on your HDR1000S. Happy Viewing.

I have the following settings and I have Netflix available:

    Software Version: UKSFAA 3.00.31

Loader Version: UKSFAA 1.08 (Not sure if this one is relevant)

    Update Date: 30 Mar 2016

Hi - Looks like we are on the same version

Our box ins't connected to the broadband so that might be the problem.

Is the box wifi enabled or do I need to get a cable to the box?

Not as standard, you need this:

Got another firmware update last night. Not sure what changes were made except that the new Freesat logo is now present.

Yes, I have seen the update. Not seeing any differences really but have connected the box via an ethernet cable and everything is much faster - We had been using homeplugs which were a bit hit & miss but with the cable plugged in directly it is much more reliable

Just on a side subject, if 4OD is not geoblocked on tablets, laptops, etc, in ROI, why is it through a freesat box. Anyway around it with out breaking any rules.
