I bought an alto sax about 25 years ago for £200 from a workmate
It sat in my attic for 20 years never played until I sold it a few years back for €750 to a guy who came over from Scotland especially to buy it. I dont think I did my homework properly on that one !

    Mandolin.

I had a one4all voucher for a 150 (or something like that) a few years ago and could find hardly any places that would take it (and had something I wanted). At the time Waltons accepted it so away I went and picked up a mandolin. :pac:

That was short enough lived though. I wouldn't mind one again, but better quality (and electric).

    A Korg X5 synthesizer.
What's worse is I sold my beloved Fender Precision to fund it.
    Day days....

Cool synth. Chris Bellew from the Presidents of the USA used one on their older stuff. I wouldn't sell a P bass for one though.

Oh it's a good synth but I cant play piano so feck all use to me really other than mucking about. I should have typed dark days there btw, I was making silly decisions at that point in my life.

I'm guessing you moved it on? If not they've really shot up in value recently. Nice investment. :)
