Identify this bird....

    Hi,

    I'm in north cork. Recently have noticed a pair of pretty big birds and i have no idea what bird it is.

    Don't have a photo. Bigger than a crow. Flys fairly high up, sort of gliding in the wind. Does a loud cry.

    Mostly brown with black at the wing tips, and a stripe of white just above the black wing tip.

    Any ideas what bird this is??
