Ah I jest. I like Google but Google+ is surely a massive failure and I don't personally know anyone that uses it on a daily basis.

    Google employees
    Google fanboys
People who were forced to open an account and were looking around thinking 'wtf is this?'
    Terr'ists, speaking in code language

He has a few grammar mistakes in there, but I suppose we can excuse him as Irish is his native language.

I've never met anyone in real life who was against the English language... they're surely a minority of minorities.

I am against it, sure its taking over the world, the 'McDawnolds' of languages, pushes its way into all corners of the world uninvited and fueled mainly by Western greed. Trying to unlearn it now

As I read that, he was saying that he didn't need schools in Ireland to be teaching in English, rather than he didn't need school at all.

On the other hand, from the way he wrote that, I reckon he could have benefited from some more schooling.

I meant within Ireland obviously. And how could you possibly 'unlearn' a language - hit your head against the wall enough times?? Brain lobotomy??

People are greedy outside the West too you know, it's human greed, human psychology. The history of English aside, nowadays it spreads through movies & pop culture -- people in Asia/Africa etc.. aren't forced to consume Western Media, they choose to nowadays and adopt it to suit their own culture.

Japan has managed to take Western ideas and make it entirely their own.

Technically you ca-an in a way (although I think that guy above was joking). Just don't practice is, speak in Irish as much as possible, avoid being exposed to English as much as possible. If it's your first language, I doubt you can entirely -forget- it, but I've lost languages I've part-learned just from not having the opportunity to practice them.

The quality of Google employees has declined dramatically if the OP's quote is accurate.
