    Hi. Guys.

Wanna buy a second hand car. Someone in drogheda said there is a guy named Declan Callanan is very good. Doing business for more than 10 years and has a good reputation.

Checked from solo check.ie found his company is on liquidation. Just wondering anyone bought a car from him or is his company's status ok?

Thanks a mil for ur help.

If you were to buy one and they are in liquidation I would treat the purchase as a private sale and disregard any comeback you would have should anything go wrong. You might pick up a bargain though if they are liquidating stock or a lemon if it's stuff they couldn't shift for months/years.

Seems to be 3 companies, per www.cro.ie. Maybe not same guy but worth checking.

    Callanan Motor Company
    Callanan Autos
    Callanan Auto's

Ensure you know exactly who registered owner is. If buying from the company in liquidation, talk to the liquidator first before parting with money.
