    Hi lads,

Looking for some advice. I have the OEM stereo with separate Parrot BT in my car.
Is there any way that I can play my music from my iphone through the Parrot via BT?
I was able to do that through an old car, but it was an aftermarket stereo.

I would consider buying the RNS 510 but it seems to be very complicated to install and gives battery draining issues?

    Thanks.
    S

Yes there is, but it depends on which model Parrot kit you have. If your kit doesn't have this ability you can get a 'higher spec' Parrot kit to enable you to play your music via BT from your phone or plug an iPod/phone/MP3 player into it.
Which model Parrot do you have currently?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Pretty sure it is the Parrot CK3100 model. Is that compatible?

Not for playing music. You'll have to upgrade your handsfree kit, the Parrot Mki9200 or something like an IO Play would do what you are looking for. Check with your local car audio retailer for all the options/prices etc.

    Hi,
I recently got this Belkin Aux Bluetooth
It connects to the Aux Port (not sure if you have one or not), and phone connects via Bluetooth to it, it's working a treat so far. Its not an FM transmitter and i've an iphone 4s . I use it mostly for playing music and it's perfect for it .

I've seen people complain that they have to push the button once every time they start the car to pair it, only ever takes 2-3 seconds !

Can be abit slow tho sometimes to answer calls, but that's probably more down to the phone.
Any one I've talked to on it when driving say its ok.

Had looked into getting a Pioneer CarPlay system but couldn't justify the price

Cheers for the reply ed1604. I think I am just going to leave it - as it is a good BT system and works well in the car! I will just have to do it the old fashioned way - with CDs!
