Gta v online is it really over :( or can it be resurrected

Just noticed lately that the game seams to be loosing it's edge lately.
It's gone glithchy during game play and the new modes are only fun for a short period of time.

Now don't get me wrong it's funny when you've a good crew session and your making up your own games and having fun with everyone involved but is it beginning to play itself out now.

Ive been playing awhile now and never gotten sick of it. Something always drags me back into to play it and I'm perfectly fine with that.
Also I've noticed that much of the threads posted here are beginning to become obsolete and the lack of interest is becoming increasingly evident that maybe the game is finally loosing it's legs.

Now as a constant Gta gamer I'd like to express my disappointment in the latest dlcs contents, as much of you would agree it's beginning to ruin the in game Gta dollars at the amount of ridiculous prices we have to pay for certain items.

Some of you might say we have gotten away long enough by not having to purchase the dreaded shark cards but in my opinion I'd rather blow the dosh on a casino or even a decent new car or maybe cool guns.

So here is my question and this is a serious one, how do we expand our gta community more and how can we keep people interested in playing the game we all know and have grown to love?

For me il keep playing till the next phase is complete when we have to fly to different cities and experience new adventures but in the mean time where do we go from here?

I didn't come in to check your punctuation. I repair computers and consoles and thought you were having an issue I could help with.
Never mind. Back to politics it is.

Not gonna read that, no offence, but to answer the original question, I can only answer for me and that's no. About 10 of us play regularly on PS4, maybe twice a week.

We generally only use jobs/gametypes we have created that week for each other to play and we have a laugh doing it.

Glad we all got back into it after about 6 months away from it.

    Who rattled your cage?

Oh, also, it's 'Go away!' After a full stop you use a capital letter. Carry on. ;-)

Everyone is sick of the same boring dlc.it needs a boost of life tbh. Would it make the game interesting to have brds v rise battles?

I like the idea of a crew vs. crew session, we've never done that before, could be a laugh. We could also create a playlist of vs. missions/deathmatches solely for two crews to compete.

R* should update the creator to include options for mission/heist creations, that would definitely liven things up, but it's probably easier said than done.

Other than that, I guess I'll stick to the Whacky Races, while keeping the dream alive that one day, some day, they'll open that god damn casino.

Think maybe it needs a real feel more shops maybe petrol to top up your car bring back in the gym that was pretty cool

Give us servers with no cops in them during free play. They can just disable the ability to hold up the shops and what not.
    Simples.

    Nooooooooooo.

I hope R* don't cop that, cos it'd be the beginning of the end for GTA online.

The petrol charge eventually drain every player's bank account, forcing them to buy a shark card.

I say: fudge that! Either Louis shows up, or I'm out!

Sounds fun. U in Boards crew?

No idea what's going on in the OP but it's impossible to play online with randomers exiting missions and jobs etc.
I'd love to play more but it's not the top of my priorities at the moment. I'd love to get the last heist done but there's never really anyone on when I'm on or other people are doing their own thing which is perfectly acceptable.

I've never even seen some of the posters in this thread playing Gta online. I play every night. I send out invites to races, heists, missions, death matches, whatever and the amount of boards members that don't accept is pretty big. That amount of boards members that don't play anymore is pretty big too though. Got my elite tshirts last night. Next up is to get the other tshirts I'm missin along with the tattoos. There's always something to be doing if you don't want to battling away in freemode.

    I missed this one.

I think it's on the way out unless they're willing to put in some serious work on it. The DLC has become less and less interesting. What's really been any good since the heists? Or been of any significance? Listening to Johnny give out about the that American football game they added was hilarious. I never played it and have no intention of doing so, but Jesus what were they smoking when they thought that up? Absolute scutter. The new cars and bikes are pretty gack. I think Phobos described the Lowriders DLC as gimmicky, which is true. Casino DLC, maybe some more heists or vehicles like submarines with missiles?

That said, it's been really the only game I've played for about 2 years until Fallout came out - I got my money's worth (twice). There'll probably still be a good bit of banter with the lads off Boards online for a good while, I imagine.

Farty, use full stops. It's not being a grammar nazi. It's about as basic as it gets. Distracts from the point you're trying to make.

To me gta online had lots of potential. But was just shallow. Got bored with heists fast. People quitting, long as loading screens. I have a longer attention span than most but this was nonsense.

They could of added gang wars. A proper dlc that added Turf control. Gaining in game money for a crew /losing in game money. Incentives to play and have fun.

Lets face it they did the bare minimum.

You could probably use a lesson or two yourself in the use of commas and the difference between 'could have' and 'could of'.

Jesus Christ, it's a GTA thread/forum, not a lesson in the proper use of English. Can we cut out the bollocks?!

I'll be reviewing this thread later on.

No more posts off topic or arguing from either side.

Edit: Ok, I read through the thread and have sent a few PM's. (and a few more to send)

I've edited the OP to make it easier to read.

Posts should be easy to read and understand but a few spelling mistakes or a missing full stop is not the end of the world
Over and back bickering is a pain to deal with.
I don't want to bring cards into this but I will if it continues.

Please stick to the topic of the thread.

Maybe it ain't over just yet:

The problem I have with GTA Online is that I dont really play the game anymore... even when I'm playing it.

I don't really do any missions, races, heists or events anymore.

All I do is log on, kill as many randomers I can, buy ammo & kill more randomers.

There is also the Money Making Simulator 2015.
A glitch comes out and you spend the day grinding.

I find myself playing other games and logging on whenever there is a new dlc.

I'll play that for a few days and then back to whatever game I was in the middle of.
