    Guys hope ye can help.

Want to buy other 1/2 a good laptop. (xmas present)

She doesn't do anything that fancy , but will be bringing it to college.

Reliable - good internet - fast - stylish and can walk in and buy off shelf.

Wouldn't be into mac. about 500 to 800 euro

Would be great if microsoft office was on it.

Asus Zenbook UX305 or HP Envy 13 would be two great choices.

Looking at above - is it about 999 euro for a good one ?

800 is on the low side for ultrabooks. And Asus are a big brand, but are more well known among gamers and enthusiasts.

The ZenBook is 749 from Irish stores and the HP one (much better spec and performance) starts at 899.
