I have a heavy mirror that has a decorative frame. The frame contains two holes bored into the frame with brass rims on the holes.. Any idea how to hang this type mirror, what kind of fitting go into the holes with the brass rims.

What type of wall are you hanging it to?

    Internal block wall

Stick up a photo of the plate fixing, guessing it's a "mirror plate" with keyhole shaped opening to accommodate a screw head.

Do the fittings look something like the above?

If so, figure where you want the mirror to hang, allow for the difference between the top of the mirror and the top of the keyhole on the plate.

Measure the distance between the centre of each keyhole.

Mark as appropriate on the wall (allowing for difference in height mentioned above)

Drill appropriate size holes, put in rawl plugs, and screw in the screws, leaving them out enough to allow you to hang the mirror.

P.s. when marking the wall for the holes use a spirit level to ensure the holes, and therefore the mirror will hang straight and level

Thanks for the reply.. Not sure if it's exactly what I need.
They're is only one hole on each side of the mirror. Each hole s located about 2 square nch in from the top corners of the frame

    I've attached a photo below

Personally, i'd bore out the hold as much as possible inside the brass section. Then just measure and drill. Insert 2 wall plugs, followed by 2 of these, abnd just hang the mirror over these:

Was thinking along those lines too but wasn't sure if there was a correct fitting for the brass piece.
