    I had an extension built in 2011 the builder used straw in the roof and foam boards in the walls as far as I'm aware it's to the proper standard but the roof is quite high so the room is very cold.I've been quoted 3000 to improve the insulation and re-do the walls.to me this price seems a bit excessive but as I'm not an expert I'm unsure

    I would not add further drylining without understanding more about the existing build ups.

    Straw needs to be very compact to be any good.

    Please confirm the thickness of each material in roof and wall.
