I have a Toshiba laptop (I haven't the model to hand).

I updated to Windows 10 during the summer and since then, my DVD Player won't play DVDS. :(

Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

What OS system were you running prior to upgrading? As far as I am aware, MS Media Player is no longer a W10 component. It is possible to download it separately but not included in the W10 download or installation.
