New speed limit on R147 near Fairyhouse

Couldn't believe new signs showing 50kph between Fairyhouse roundabout and the County Club. Hope someone can tell me that it is only a temporary measure! They did a fine job re-surfacing that section, to make the road safer but having a 50kph limit is more likely to cause an accident, seeing as most drivers don't even…

Couldn't believe new signs showing 50kph between Fairyhouse roundabout and the County Club. Hope someone can tell me that it is only a temporary measure!

They did a fine job re-surfacing that section, to make the road safer but having a 50kph limit is more likely to cause an accident, seeing as most drivers don't even adhere to the 80kpm limit.
