Jobseekers benefit question

I got a letter today from the jobseekers department asking me to fill in a form to show that I am actively seeking work. It asks if I was offered any job. I've only been a few months on jobseekers and I have applied for many jobs.
I actually was offered two. Both by well known supermarkets but I could not accept them as they would only offer 20 hours per week split 5/7 days. This means I'd need to arrange childminders for 5 to 7 days per week if I accepted them but for such little hours. I even checked with the community creche to try make it work but they were full and turned me away. So I declined the two jobs.
If I admit this will they use it against me? I just don't want to be dishonest. Surely they would understand that a 20 hour week split over 5 or 7 days isn't workable with two children under 3?
I can even prove that I asked the HR managers in both places if they could consider letting me work those 20 hours over a shorter amount of days as it would work out better for creche/childminder. They said it's a common question but unfortunately they can only offer them over 5 to 7 days. Makes no sense to me, when i worked in a supermarket when I was young we were always asked to work mostly over Friday to Sunday rather than a few hours everyday. But anyway how does that affect my claim? Thanks in advance guys :)
